Race 2 - #5 VERRY FLASH (Win)

Despite finishing 13L behind race rival Nedwin on the flat last time they met in May, there’s a 10.5kg swing in the weights in favour of Verry Flash, with the track also being in much better shape than the bottomless Heavy10 they struck that day. Verry Flash has shown he is a class hurdler in his three goes over the jumps, he looks very well placed in this field with 66kg on his back and the trainer/jockey combination have been potent this season.

Race 8 - #7 PUKANA (Each Way)

First up here for nearly two months, Pukana comes into this on the fresher side off the back of his unlucky 4^th behind Mr Mojo Rising. With luck from the carpark barrier draw (19), along with Triston Moodley’s 4kg claim, he will be right in this race. My main concern is that he could end up a fair way back from the draw, however, he looks a very nice each way play in this even lineup.
