Race 6 Te Rapa, 29 April

The Fearless One

After getting back he sustained a strong finish to run third, running the best closing sectionals by far. He is a very good stayer and doesn't need much racing to get him ready to win. One to follow with confidence.

Race 7 Hawera, 26 April

Stallone

This was a good run fresh up coming home nicely for second, wide out, on the track in the fastest last 400 metres. He will improve with that and is one to follow throughout the wet months.

Race 3 Phar Lap, Raceway 27 April

Stevie Nix

The addition of the Norton Bit allowed her to settle well in the big field and charge home with a sustained finish for third. She ran the strongest last 200 metres and looks a definite improver.

Race 4 Rotorua, 28 April

Brookbourne

After getting back in an on-pace race he was putting in some good strides late for fifth. He ran the fastest last 200m and was strong through the line. He looks like a definite improver.

Race 9 Hastings, 29 April 

Extortion

From a wide draw he got back but powered home for third in in the quickest last 600 and 200 metres. He looks primed for a win over 1600 metres next up.
