Agera

After working hard from the wide draw, he eased back for cover and then came again late to almost win in the best last 400 and 200 metres. That was his debut run and he looks a next up winner.

Race 6 Pukekohe ,22 March

Sacred Rose

With 200 metres to run she was last but unwound strongly for fourth in the best last 400 and 200 metres. Her dam won at a middle distance and she gives every impression she will improve as the distances get longer.

 

Race 3 Tauranga, 25 March

Pin Me Up

From last on the turn she really came home well for third in the best last 200 metres. She will improve from that and looks hard to beat next up.

 

Race 4 Tauranga, 25 March

Luxuriant

This was a good effort from the mare as she was well back on the turn but almost won. The last 200 metres was close to the best all day and she should improve off that.

Race 3 Riccarton, 25 March 

Catalina Bay

She began well and settled handy, but slowly got shuffled back near the rear. Once she got balanced up, she really hit the line well in the best last 400 and 200 metres. Will improve off that.
