After being caught midfield three wide in the open, she put up a remarkable run to get up and ran the best last 200 metres! She has matured into a strong mare and maybe ready to follow in the dam’s hoof prints.

Race 6 Matamata,15 March

Lerado

After settling back on the outer, he came home strongly for second in the best closing sectionals. The extra ground certainly helped and expect a winning effort next up.

 

Race 8 Ashburton, 16 March

Stolen Decree

She was held up in the straight then came strongly for second in the best last 200m. Maybe 1400m suits better.

 

Race 5 Trentham, 18 March

Les Crayeres

She used up petrol to get to second outer with a first 400 in 24.79. After leading in the straight, she did well to hold on for fourth and will improve with that.

He may have finished a distant fifth but ran the best last 200 metres. 1600 metres will suit better next up.
