The ODT Southern Mile series is proving a great success with 88 horses competing in the first 6 heats – an average of 14.67 starters per heat – 40% above the national average.

 

Competition will be keen over the remaining 4 races in the series before the $100,000 final at Wingatui on 4^th March. Gaining points is the key to a start in the final and is reflected in the size and quality of the fields to date.

 

The next race is a Rating 65 at Wingatui on Saturday 4^th February.
