Codigo Race 5 Matamata 3 January

Although he wasn't fast away, he showed good speed to work to the lead. He then set even sectionals and had every excuse to get run down. But he kicked strongly and won really well, running the best last 200 metres of the race. Looks to be in for a good career.

Biedermeier Race 4 Tauranga 2 January

This was her first go over ground and she ran a very good second. Her sectionals were the best in the race meaning she can improve off that to be very hard to beat next up.

Sharada Race 4 Otaki 4 January 

She hit the line strongly from behind midfield in the quickest sectionals for . She won fresh up over 1400 metres and over that distance next up she will be hard to beat.

Is That So Race 3 Trentham 7 January

It was unfortunate that he ran into Shamus as he finished with purpose in the best closing sectionals in good time. He will be improved by that and should be hard to beat next up.

Miss Harley Quinn Race 3 Kumara 7 January

After working early on a very fast pace to lead, it was no surprise to see her tire in the last 100 metres. She can win another race before the tracks get too firm.
