She probably had the hardest run in the race, yet was still able to close off hard for second in the best closing sectionals in all areas. Looks a definite improver.

Tiny Terror Race 6 Matamata 9 October

His first 400m of 24.72 and then setting a solid tempo left him vulnerable late, so to hold third was a good effort. Maybe back to 1200m will suit better.

Fiddyafortnight Race 6 Hawera 9 October

This mare is ready to win when she strikes a better surface. She was held up at a vital stage and had to make her run in slightly slower ground, running the third best last 200 metres.
