EDDIE WOOD: A good sort of Redwood gelding with Robbie Patterson, he would have learnt a lot from his 1200m heat win. One to watch out for, especially when he gets over a bit more ground.

ROC MUSIC: Former northerner making his first public appearance for new trainer Jamie Bullard. Travelled strongly throughout and was lonely at the finish with Chis Johnson sitting pat. Set to make his mark.
