The winner of 4 Gr.1 races, including the Queensland Oaks as a 3-year-old and Melbourne Cup - Caulfield Cup double as 4 year old; Ethereal who was owned and raced by Pencarrow Stud, retired to the breeding barn after her final Gr.1 victory in the BMW stakes. The beautiful bay is still a very much loved member of the Vela family and enjoying her retirement on the farm in Cambridge.
