The Members’ Council of New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing has announced that Bruce Sharrock has been appointed to the Board of NZTR.

 

Mr Sharrock was appointed following interviews with the NZTR Members’ Council and will take up the role with effect from 1 September 2019.

 

He will replace board member Dean McKenzie who resigned to take up the role of chair of RITA earlier this year. 

 

Mr Sharrock has a background in sports management and is a founder and director of Esportif, one of the world’s leading sports management agencies.
