The Ride to Time events have kicked off for the 2019 season with @Riccarton Park Racecourse hosting the first successful day on Tuesday. The joint initiative between NZTR and New Zealand Pony Clubs is now in its second year and is increasing in popularity.

 

12 riders spent the day gaining an insight into our industry from experts in their field, before they took to the track on their ponies and practiced riding to time!

 

Congratulations to the winner of the senior group, Katherine Hadler and Jack Hague, of the junior group. 

 

NZTR would like to extend a special thanks to Sarah Swarbrick from Dunstan Horsefeeds, Samantha Wynne, Tanya Jonker and Kezia Murphy for taking the time to share their knowledge with the group, and Riccarton Park Racecourse for the use of their great facilities.
