Trainer Jamie Richards will be represented by five runners in Saturday week’s Karaka Million 2YO (1200m), with the man at the helm of the Te Akau Racing operation looking to notch the stable’s third Karaka Million winner in as many years.

The stable sent out Melody Belle to win the 2017 edition and repeated that success when Avantage saluted last year.

Opie Bosson will stick with pre-post favourite Probabeel following the daughter of Savabeel’s impressive victory at Ellerslie on Sunday.

Leading Sydney-based jockey James McDonald will be back in his homeland and will partner Group Two-winning juvenile Aotea Lad.

Matthew Cameron will ride Yourdeel, who finished a short-neck behind Probabeel at Ellerslie on Sunday, while debut winner Louis Luck will have the services of Shafiq Rusof.

Jonathan Riddell completes the quintet and will ride stakes performer Challa.
