The Taranaki Meeting on Friday 16 February will see stake increases across the whole card with the R75 1200m and R65 1800m races both increasing to $25,000. The remainder of the card will increase from $18,000 to $22,500. The R65 race will now become The City Of New Plymouth Cup. This race was lost with the abandonment of the 29 December meeting a fortnight ago.
