The stakes for the Taupo meeting (8 races) will now be $20,000 per race. There was a communication earlier in the week stating that stakes that these stakes were reverting to $17,000. The extra stake-money of $3,000 per race has been contributed by Auckland Thoroughbred Racing who were originally staging the meeting.

The 2100m races will now be run over 2000m while the 1600m races will be over 1750m.
