The race-meeting scheduled for Taranaki on Thursday 9 June will now be conducted by the Waverley RC at Waverley. The meeting remains as apprentice rider day. The Mdn 1800m will now be run over 1650m as will the R65 1600m. The R65 2000m race will become 2200m. The track at Taranaki, after a renovation, is progressing well. Their return to race-day is scheduled for Powerworx Opunake Cup Day on Saturday 23 July. A substantial set of jump-outs is scheduled for Friday 10 June with a selection of experienced riders to partake along with RIB representatives. The trial meeting scheduled for Waverley on Tuesday 7 June has been removed at this stage.
