  • Stipe Comment: COURT IN NEW YORK was obliged to race wide throughout and gave ground from the 600m and finished a distant last. When spoken to regarding the performance of COURT IN NEW YORK rider T Moseley advised he was disadvantaged by having to race three wide throughout and in his opinion was not suited by the prevailing track conditions. Trainer B Court agreed with Mr Moseley in that COURT IN NEW YORK was suited by the track conditions. Stewards ordered a veterinary examination of COURT IN NEW YORK which revealed that the gelding pulled up in a distressed state and was heard to make a respiratory noise by the vet. The connections were advised that the gelding will require a veterinary clearance before racing again
