Jump Start is a Thoroughbred retraining programme run by a team of five in Palmerston North. The team have a wide variety of backgrounds meaning that the horses get every opportunity to be “Jump Started” into their new career. Headed up by Dana Sutton, the team is based at Kyrewood Equine which provides facilities including arenas, a walker, stables and hacking which allow for horses to get exposed to a variety of environments within the one complex before finding their new home.
