Winning Edge Presentations Winter Cup Day, Saturday 7 August

Riccarton Park are kicking things off with their Winning Edge Presentations Winter Cup Day. Featuring the (you guessed it!) Group 3 Winning Edge Presentations Winter Cup, with an impressive undercard including a few jumps races in the mix, the action on the track will be second to none. With hospitality on offer and live music in the birdcage between races, consider this the perfect warm up for a big week ahead.

Hospitality NZ Canterbury Grand National Hurdles, Wednesday 11 August

What beats a Wednesday afternoon in the office? The answer is a lot of things, but the Hospitality NZ Canterbury Grand National Hurdles has to be right up there as one of your best options! A race steeped in history, catch the 131st running of the Grand National Hurdles and be there to witness the next chapter of New Zealand jumps racing history be written. With Riccarton Park’s signature hospitality and live music on-course, it’ll be a day’s leave well spent!

Racecourse Hotel & Motor Lodge NZ Grand National Steeplechase, Saturday 14 August

It goes without saying, the racing at Grand National Steeplechase Day will be TOP NOTCH. Supported by an undercard of nine other races, the 146th running of the Grand National Steeplechase will see the country’s bravest horses and jockeys battle for one of the most prestigious steeplechase trophies around.

Consider yourself somewhat of a fashionista? Then this is the day for you because winter fashion in the field is back! Register at Riccarton Park’s Tea House on the day before 11.30am and get ready to strut your stuff at 12.30pm. Rally your support crew, with reserved seating, drinks, and light refreshments available, they’ll be supporting in style.

Course entry, buffet lunch in the Balmerino Room, a drink on arrival and racebook will set you back just $70 with a Multi Pack ticket (bargain!) If you’re content to watch the day unfold with a punnet of hot chips in hand, then a $25 general admission should do the trick.
