What greets you on arrival is worth the trek - a thoughtful and delicious menu centered around freshly sourced ingredients, coupled with an ambient atmosphere. Reccomendation: Hawke’s Bay Lamb rump, beetroot, lentils, chèvre, hazelnut dukkha.

If you’re after something a little more low key or larger group friendly, Off The Track is the place for you. With food options to cater to everyone's tastes or budget with the friendliest service, you and your friends will have the perfect environment to relax after an exciting raceday. 
Recommendation: Lamb Shank - An old-fashioned lamb shank on creamy potato mash with a rosemary tomato gravy, accompanied by steamed vegetables. 
7 minute drive $$ 
Amazing service, indoor and outdoor seating (to take advantage of Spring weather) and a comprehensive menu - everything you could possibly want after a busy day on-course! Jarks is a friendly, reasonably priced establishment close to Hastings Racecourse; the perfect place to saunter down to for a low-key ending to your on-course experience.
Recommendation: Eye Full of Beef - Eye fillet served on saffron mash with sautéed vegetables & oven roasted mushroom. Finished with red wine jus.
