  • Stipe Comment: Held up early in the run home and when attempting a run to the inside of TE KANAWA became held up when that runner shifted ground slightly. Continued to have trouble obtaining clear running until the final 100 metres then becoming briefly awkward in its stride when shying and laying outwards over the concluding stages, again becoming awkwardly placed on heels having to be steadied near the winning post. Shortly after the winning post was crowded with the rider becoming unbalanced and being steadied to avoid heels.
