  • Stipe Comment: When questioned regarding the disappointing performance D Walsh explained mount travelled only fairly in the early and middle stages and when placed under pressure in the home straight continually wanted to duck in, placing him at a disadvantage and the horse ran to the finish in a disappointing manner. He said that in his opinion was not suited by the fast track conditions today. Trainer M Cooper explained that she agreed with Jockey Walsh in that she did not believe the mare was suited by the firm track conditions and advised the mare will now be sent for a spell.
